    Chairs Glorious Chairs

    I love Chairs. I have loads of all shapes and sizes. I also love a bargain and hate replacing anything if I can make the original look like new again. Which is what I’ve recently done with a set of 4 chairs and a stool. The chairs in our conservatory needed a bit of tlc we often sit at the table in the conservatory for our meals and my grandson generally uses the seat to wipe his hands on! I bought a duvet cover and pillowcase set (in the sale) at The Range homeware store and used the pillowcases and a staple gun to transform the seats. I’m really pleased…

    Flea Market

    A little pastime of mine is to visit the local flea market and charity shops to find things to bring back to life. Two recent purchases were chairs for my grandson. I paid £5 combined for them and had the fabric to make cushions in my stash. The dinosaur fabric I’d actually been given so that didn’t cost me anything. I purchased the chairs Saturday morning and by teatime they were looking loved again. And there was even enough fabric for a floor cushion.     I didn’t use a pattern I just measured and made it up as I went along but I think they look good. Let me…
